Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe

Batman fights Scorpion to the finish. Sub-Zero freezes Superman while Johnny Cage beats the crap out of Robin.

Yes, its Mortal Kombat vs. the DC Universe and you control the outcome. Just the game, Marvel Universe vs Capcom, players can fight each other to the finish. You get to control the Flash out running Raiden’s lighting bolt. If you cannot out maneuver Radien then there will be fatalities.

The game, Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe, will be coming out this fall for Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3.

A “cataclysmic force” will bring the two universes together and forces them to fight. To make this story work, comic book writer Jimmy Palmiotti (Pain Killer Jane, John Hex) and Justin Gray (writer of Jonah Hex, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, JLA Classified, Punisher Red X-Mas) was brought in create the story behind the merging of two different universe.

Ed Boon, executive producer for Mortal Kombat, says, "Players will now be able to answer the question: what would happen if Batman fought Sub Zero?"

What will happen? You decide the outcome.

Remember the fatalities inflected on the loser of a fight? Well just imagine what its like to have the winner inflect fatalities on Superman.

Movie Preview of Spider-Man's Clone: Scarlet Spider

Alright, there is no movie planned by Marvel Comics about Spider-Man's clone, the Scarlet Spider.

For those of you who was following the Spider-Man story about the return of his clone then you know what I am referring to. The return of Spider-Man's clone was published in the middle of the 1990s.

The story drag on and on and it was a mess. A lot of fans did not like the idea of a clone coming back to replace Spider-Man and wipe out years and years of continuity. It was to the point where the editors and writers of the Spider-Man books did not know how to end the storyline and bring back the real Spider-Man.

The real Peter Parker even had a baby girl with his wife, Marry Jane Watson. The baby girl, however, had a mysterious disappearance and was never mention again.

Now to the good part. I went online to look for some Spider-Man pictures to use for the Entrecard and came upon a very interesting video from YouTube. Check it out:

Inside The Incredible Hulk Movie Trailer

The Incredible Hulk movie is coming out on June 13, 2008.

This is not a continuation of Ang Lee's Incredible Hulk but a completely different version. This version is more based on the 1970's TV show with a lot of action and special effects.

Its the Hulk vs the Abomination in a no holds bar match!

Heres the official description of the movie:

Scientist Bruce Banner desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk. Living in the shadows--cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross--Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross, and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power. As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination, whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's own. To stop it, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside--The Incredible Hulk.

The Secret Invasion of the Marvel Universe

Who do you trust?

Definitely not you if you seem . . . Skrully. What? Skrully?

For those of you who are an avid comic book reader, then you know what I am talking about. If you do not know what I am referring to then sit back, relax and I will explain to you about this earth shattering event known as “Secret Invasion” that is occurring right now.

All that you know about your favorite Marvel superheroes might be all false because the superhero that you have been following these past several years might be a Skrull. A Skrull is a shape – shifting alien race that has infiltrated every super-powered organization in Earth with one goal . . . Invasion!!

Even President Bush might one of those shapes – shifting alien Skrull because a Skrull can take the appearance of a person and be an exact duplicate. No one can tell the difference (hmmm . . . no wonder he acts . . . strange sometimes).

The only person who knows the truth is the series writer, Brian Michael Bendis. Even he might be a Skrull operating within Marvel Comics so that he could write these worlds shattering story to captivate you so you can spend your money and make Marvel Comics a lot of fat money.

This Skrully tale has been years in the making, developing the Skrulls’ revenge and placing replacements and traitors along the way. The ramifications of the outcome are staggering.

The artist to this eight-issue mini-series that promises to shake the status quo to its core is Leinil Yu. The first time I saw his art work was in an old issue of the New Avengers. At first I was not a big fan of his work because of the style of his drawing.

After picking up several issues of the New Avengers, I get to like his drawing. His style is very unique compare to other artist in the industry. His drawings give a lot of details to the characters and his ability to draw multiple characters in a single panel is quite impressive.

Is This Story Good?
The Secret Invasion story is one of those stories that keep you wanting more and more. The suspense level is high and seeing the heroes trying to figure out who is a Skrull is even better. My suggestion is pick up this book and give it a try and see what all the buzz is about. You will be glad you did.

If you missed the first issue (came out on April 2, 2008), have no fear because Marvel is coming up with a second print.

This is your chance to see who is a Skrull and find out why “This double-sized first issue has the jaws of fans and critics on the floor!”
